Children’s Interpretations of Others’ Emotions

Sarah Garcia, a graduate student researcher, is conducting a study to learn how children’s interpretations of others’ emotions are related to their social behaviors for her doctoral dissertation. For this study, children label emotion expressions, watch short movie clips, answer questions about their emotions and behaviors, and have their heart rate monitored. Parents fill out rating scales about their children’s feelings and behaviors.      Sarah 4
